The National Capital Section, understanding the importance of having a visible symbol of our profession, has made arrangements for you to become a member of the Order of the Engineer. Therefore, the Section will host a Ring Ceremony on February 19, 2019, during Engineers Week, which will precede our monthly meeting held at the Hilton Hotel in Arlington, Virginia.

University of the Pacific presents the Order of the Engineer and Pledge of the Computing Professional in a joint ceremony called “Pledge of Professionalism” for all eligible Engineering and Computer Science seniors.
The Engineers Club of Dayton 2019 Order of the Engineer (OOE) Induction will occur on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. at the Club in collaboration with the Air Force Institute of Technology, the Air Force Research Laboratory and other regional industrial, government and academic engineering, science and technology organizations.
An optional dinner before the ceremony will be available for inductees and guests at 5-7:00 p.m. For dinner reservations (required) call 937- 228-2148. In addition to new inductees, current members of the Order, Club members, guests and friends are invited to attend the induction and dinner.
The Order of the Engineer Ceremony will be Wednesday March 20 at 10 AM in the CBIS Auditorium at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Followed after the ceremony, ASCE National President Robin Kemper will be presenting on ethics!
